Start the New Year on the Right Foot with a First Day Hike

Kick off the New Year with intention, fresh air, and scenic views! The Chenango Greenway Conservancy invites you to join us for a First Day Hike led by Greenway members Inez Moutarde and Sharon Pelosi. This family-friendly event is the perfect way to celebrate new beginnings, connect with nature, and set your goals for the year ahead.

Event Details:

  • Time: 10:00 AM (Please arrive a few minutes early to get settled)

  • Meeting Location: Dungeon Parking Lot (Greenway parking lot on Upper Ravine Road)

Hike Overview:
This easy-to-moderate 2-mile hike will take participants along the beautiful trail to Dimross. For those looking for a little extra adventure, there will be an option to continue on to the Stone Quarry Face, offering stunning views and a rewarding experience.

What to Bring:

  • Wear weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy footwear.

  • Bring a bottle of water to stay hydrated.

  • Optional: A small notebook or journal to reflect on your goals and intentions for the year.
