Second Annual Chenango River Trails Spring Cleanup! We will honor Norwich’s Patsy Smith for her generous donation of this beautiful riverfront property and host a grand celebration under a festival tent overlooking the Chenango River with music, food, drinks and dancing! Patsy’s Riverview is a 5-acre parcel that was graciously gifted to the Chenango Greenway Conservancy in 2019 to be conserved as public open space. It’s going to be a fun evening by the river. For this special event there will be two separate hiking groups. The first group will depart from the Upper Ravine Road entrance, also known as the Dungeon. The second group will begin their adventure from the Wheeler Ave entrance. Both groups will converge at the face of the Stone Quarry, where together, we plan to watch the moon rise over the tranquil hillside. For this extraordinary experience, we recommend wearing comfortable footwear suitable for the terrain, and bringing a flashlight to guide your way.
