     Join Us for the 3rd Annual Tales & Trails Halloween Hike! One of our most popular events is back! Saturday, October 25 Starts at 6:00 PM Upper Ravine Road Bring your family and friends for an unforgettable autumn evening. Along the way, you’ll stop at two special trail spots where storytellers will share tales that bring the season to life.     Annual Members Meeting – All Are Welcome The Chenango Greenway Conservancy invites all members — and anyone interested in learning more about our work — to our Annual Members Meeting at the United Church of Christ (UCC). Join us for light refreshments and community connection as we look back on what we’ve accomplished and look forward to exciting plans for 2026. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet fellow members, learn about current and upcoming projects, and find out how you can be part of preserving and connecting Chenango County’s trails, rivers, and green spaces.   • Kick off the New Year with Our First Day Hike 2026

    Kick off the New Year with fresh air, movement, and community at our First Day Hike. This guided winter hike will be led by Beth Stewart, John and Judy Killean, offering participants a chance to enjoy local trails while welcoming the year ahead with intention and connection. The hike will cover approximately 2–4 miles and is expected to take 2–3 hours, depending on group interest and conditions. The pace will be relaxed and adjusted to the hikers present. Participants should bring: • Snowshoes • Water • A snack • Appropriate winter footwear and layers This hike is open to all who are comfortable hiking in winter conditions and looking to begin the year outdoors. Join us for a meaningful and energizing start to the New Year.
